Blair Moss, CEO & Executive Director

Prior to Desert Scholarship Foundation, Blair was a Development Professional for 8 years, creating fundraising and marketing programs to help the homeless and less fortunate in the Coachella Valley.

A proud graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo majoring in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management, focusing on planning events and weddings, never did she dream she would dedicate her time to helping those in need. Blair devoted six years of her career to helping Father Joe Carroll fundraise to clothe, shelter, educate and provide care for the homeless in San Diego (Father Joe’s Villages) and Coachella Valley (Martha’s Village and Kitchen).

Presented with the opportunity to help make education a possibility for members of her community, she founded Desert Scholarship Foundation in 2016. As a first generation college student, she understands and values education. Her goal: Help make education possible for others who can not otherwise afford to do it alone, while providing the tools students need to become successful and productive members of their community.

She continues to engage in her new Idaho community as an active Parishioner and volunteer at St. John’s Cathedral in Boise and a volunteer at Cole Valley Christian School in Boise where her two young boys attend.
